CIPS, the Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply – the world’s largest organisation dedicated to the procurement and supply profession, with a global community of over 200,000, in over 150 countries. We were proud to be chosen as the sole supplier of learning resources to support their updated Level 2 – 6 Diplomas.
Over the course of two years, Haremi produced a suite of 46 study guides and 154 eLearning modules for CIPS. Haremi completely revamped the existing study guide design, modernising the layout and dedicating a chapter to each learning outcome from the new syllabus. We introduced a range of features such as remember prompts, recaps, checks, tests and exercises, and case studies, to provide the best possible support for learners self-studying for the qualification. We successfully commissioned high-calibre authors for all of the guides (quite an undertaking given some of the niche topics covered!) and arranged an additional fact check to ensure the material was completely credible and accurate. Our in-house editorial team managed the copyedit, typeset and proofread of every book. As a result, they’re now pretty clued up on procurement and supply themselves! We developed the concept for the interactive eLearning to be used alongside the textbooks – a fresh, easy to digest format that allows students to study little and often whilst on the go. We wrote hundreds of hours of eLearning content and used Articulate Storyline to produce SCORM-compliant packages ready for upload to CIPS’s LMS. We produced over six hours of video and 33 hours of audio podcasts to ensure the eLearning was rich, stimulating and appealed to different types of learners. We also produced an additional student support elearning module, covering topics to help student’s study effectively and feel fully prepared for what to expect in the exam. CIPS asked us to author tutor resource materials too. These included detailed tutor notes and PowerPoint slides for whole-class teaching, containing key learning points and additional exercises. One of Haremi’s Senior Project Managers coordinated the entire project, ensuring CIPS were kept well informed of progress and CIPS’s own preferences and feedback was taken on board throughout the project.
