Digital Product Manager

About the role

Haremi’s Digital Product Managers help our clients develop new products and services that meet a rapidly increasing need for high quality digital learning.

They oversee the entire development lifecycle of a wide range of digital products, such as curriculum-aligned online courses, rigorous assessment solutions and hybrid courses to support professional development.

The role requires a good technical understanding of digital platform, app, media and content standards and architectures, coupled with knowledge of modern and effective teaching strategies.

As a Digital Product Manager, you will:

  • Partner with our clients to produce ambitious digital roadmaps that give them a competitive advantage and help them meet their goals
  • Conduct market research, lead focus groups and run workshops to discover requirements
  • Prepare detailed project plans, costings and present project proposals
  • Collaborate with developers to create robust content and design specifications and briefs for digital teaching and learning solutions
  • Recruit and manage writers and subject matter experts
  • Ensure content is pedagogically sound, appropriate, relevant, engaging and effective
  • Manage cross functional project teams and key stakeholders to ensure on-time and on-budget publication
  • Assist with revenue generation by: identifying new sales leads to expand and diversify Haremi’s customer base; exploring market opportunities to provide services to new or existing customers; pitching products and/or services to secure contracts; and representing Haremi and networking at business meetings or industry events

The following skills and qualities are prerequisites for the role:

  • Background in digital learning or educational technology
  • Track record of commissioning innovative, successful and high value digital products
  • Detailed understanding of digital production processes
  • Ability to think creatively and innovatively, and to problem solve
  • Agile, responsive and able to deliver to challenging timescales
  • Exceptionally high quality standards and attention to detail
  • Strong negotiation and influencing skills
  • Ability to develop strong working relationships at all levels of an organisation
